About

J. Calvin Tibbs is a native of Hampton, Virginia; while Kimberly Richie, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.  The couple met in college through a mutual friend and became friends through the Clark College Philharmonic Society Choir. After graduating from college and receiving a commission from the U.S. Army, 2nd Lieutenant Tibbs proposed to then Kimberly Richie.  Twenty-seven years later God’s ultimate plan continues to unfold as their lifelong dream of working together is now coming to pass. With three college-age children who also work within the ministry, the Tibbs family is a group of regular people who love the Lord.  Within the ministry, love is lived, gifts are stirred and God’s Spirit is allowed access to His most prized possession, His people. Pastor Tibbs served 16 years under Robin Hancox, a Prophet of God who is Pastor of International Gospel Outreach (IGO) in Smyrna, Georgia.

Kimberly Tibbs is a retired educator, a teacher of excellence for more than 17 years. Their combined ministry experience includes, but is not limited to Assistant Pastor , Director of Children’s Church, Praise & Worship Leader, Women’s Ministry Leader, Altar Leader, Events Coordinator, Men’s Ministry Leader, Drama Director, Pastoral Care and Teacher. They continue to implement plans of commissioning Interactive-Believers in no less than 85 West Georgia cities.
